For the past five years, I have specialized in documenting oceanographic research expeditions. To date, I have joined 16 expedition teams on six different vessels.

Ocean Exploration Trust (2019-2023)

National Geographic Expedition Series | Hawaiian Islands, September - October 2022 | E/V Nautilus

  • Filmed interviews and b-roll footage

  • Provided technical support during live Ship to Shore broadcasts

  • Assisted with daily maintenance and monitoring of all shipboard video feeds and monitors

Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (2021-2022)

Alvin SVE Expedition | Caribbean Sea, July - August 2022 | R/V Atlantis

OTZ Expedition | North Atlantic, May 2021 | R/V Sarmiento de Gamboa

  • Wrote, edited, and published regular blog posts for Dive and Discover website while at sea

  • Conducted interviews and filmed all science and engineering operations aboard vessel

  • Produced two videos for the OTZ Project (during and after the expedition)

Schmidt Ocean Institute (2018)

Summer Expedition Series | North Pacific, May - October 2018 | R/V Falkor

  • Documented specialized use of ROV SuBastian and new technology from NASA

  • Published daily blog posts, facilitated outreach calls, and delivered daily content to Shoreside team

  • Filmed and produced three videos highlighting goals and accomplishments of each expedition
